GOK #23:  Kerala special chicken fry
This chicken fry is an easy, simple and tasty recipe.  When done, it is perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy inside and the curry leaves fried along with it gives a special taste.

Chicken - 300 Gms
Ginger - 1 medium piece
Garlic - 10 cloves
Greenchilli - 1
Kashmiri chilli powder - 2 Tablespoon
turmeric powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
Coconut Oil - 1 Cup
Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
Salt to taste

Cut chicken into medium pieces and clean well.

Take garlic,ginger,green chilli and little water and make it as thick paste.

Marinate chicken pieces with the garlic-ginger paste, chilli powder,turmeric powder and salt and refrigerate it for 20 minutes.

Take a kadai/cheenachatty and pour oil into it.

Put Chicken pieces one by one into the kadai. Sprinkle curry leaves too. Fry till the chicken is tender and it gets a good reddish brown colour.

Serve hot with chappathi/rice.
