Bangalore:  Thattukada (street food) is something which makes every Malayalee to cherish and relish their memories back home.  The Paul restaurant in Bangalore is all set to celebrate ethnic street recipes of Kerala with a wide array of cuisine to satisfy your appetite. The Times Food Award winning hotel for best Kerala food is hosting the fest for the second time due to the popular demand of their customers.

The fest hall is set in such a way that it immediately takes you to the memories of a thattukada back home.  As you enter, the first thing you notice is a replication of a naadan thattukada with a tea pot, steaming puttu kuzhals, and posters of Malayalam movies placed in front of the cart.

It is well known that Malayalees take pride in their variety of cuisines, which is influenced by the geography, culture and people.  Fest is organized under the expertise of Biju Mohammed, executive chef in The Paul.  They have an extensive menu from kozhi porichadu, kanambu vattichathu (a spicy curry of mullet with homemade chilli powder and cocum), kallumakaya fry (deep fried mussels), panni erachi varatiyathu (pork simmered in tangy masala), mathi karuvepila fry, nadan njandu olarthu, thattu dosa with chutney and sambhar,  mula puttu and kadala curry, and the special black tea bringing the spicy and tangy whiffs and tastes of rustic Kerala to Bangalore.
  
The Thattukada Fest is a great occasion to experience the finest flavours of Kerala at this ethnic restaurant which offers a nice dining experience.  So don’t forget to visit this Thattukada…..
